Today.

Today, is a day of memories. A day of remembrance of those who have risked their lives for the their beloved countries. All of the soldiers, cadets, airmen, officers, sailors, and other military members... thank you. Thank you for dedicating your time and efforts for the people of the United States of America.

Today is a day of memories. A day of sorrow for those who have lost loved ones on the battlefield of freedom. The men and women of all ages that have served/are serving/will serve this country have not only changed the history of this nation, but will continue to lead on a legacy of a brave population of people.

Today is a day of memories. A day of silence to all moms, dads, sisters, brothers, friends, neighbors, and peers that have shown the highest rank of patriotism, loyalty, and honor in order to keep this country safe. To keep this nation a place where hope can still be found. To fight for and show the true meaning of strength and determination.

Today is Memorial Day. A day of memories, forever.

This is sort of a tangent, but I reeeeally liked this quote soooooo..... for the quote of today:
"Life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets. So, love the people who treat you right, and forget about the ones who don't. And believe that everything happens for a reason... if you get a chance- take it; if it changes your life- let it. Nobody said that it would be easy, they just promised it would be worth it."
