Being the Change.

There is only 3 more days until Christmas. 3 more days!

Do you all know what this means?!
Three more days of:
-splurging on presents
-baking as many treats as you can for Santa
-rejoicing for Jesus' birth!!!! :)
-hoping for a blanket of snow to fall!
-singing and dancing to jolly Christmas music! (preferably Justin Bieber or Michael Buble's Christmas albums)
-wrapping those dang presents
-being with loved ones and exchanging presents

MeeeeeeeeerrrryyyyyChrisssstmassss :)

Ah, I love this season! So much joy, love, and laughter!

Anyways, on to the topic of: Being the Change.

There are plenty of people that inspire the SHIZ out of me.

But seriously.

Meet Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi:
This man has got it going on!
Gandhi led India to independence and inspired movements for civil rights and freedom across the world. Gandhi is often referred to as Mahatma or "Great Soul". In India, he is also called Bapu or "Father" and was officially honored as the Father of the Nation. Gandhi strove to practice non-violence and truth in all situations, and advocated that others do the same. He lived modestly in a self-sufficient residential community and wore the traditional Indian dhoti and shawl, woven with yarn he had hand spun on a charkha. He ate simple vegetarian food, and also undertook long fasts as means of both self-purification and social protest. (this information was mostly brought to you by Wikipedia)

If you don't call that an inspiration, then my name isn't Jessica Marie Hudson!
I know it may seem a little cliche and all, but seriously he did somethings that people wouldn't dare in his time, and lived a life full of truth and honesty. He saw that there was a need for change and instead of pointing fingers or asking others to do things for him, he took initiative and became the change himself.

"An ounce of practice is worth more than tons of preaching." - Mohandas Gandhi

In conclusion, Gandhi also said, "[y]ou must be the change you wish to see in the world" so go forth and make a difference. If you feel something is unjust or whatever the case may be... do something about it! If you don't think anyone believes in you... I DO! :)

Until the next time.................. Take Care
P.s. Have you all listened to that album yet?
[Take Care] by DRAKE a.k.a. drizzzzyyy baby.
Haha, But really. Peace & Blessings this Christmas Season!
